1-day workshop for PhD students: Dottikon Exclusive Synthesis

The swiss company Dottikon (Dottikon Exclusive Synthesis, Hembrunnstrasse 17, 5605 Dottikon, Switzerland) is offering to hold a 1-day workshop on their premises on Monday, September 18, 2023, for students of FAU Department of Chemistry and Pharmacy. This offer addresses mainly PhD students. The number of attendees is restricted to 25 people; participation is free of charge.

DOTTIKON ES produces hiqh-quality fine chemicals, intermediates and specialized drugs for leading chemical and pharmaceutical companies around the world. The company is based in Switzerland, and offers more than 20 different professions for highly-trained workers and university graduates. Although DOTTIKON ES focuses on syntheses, graduates from all chemistry branches are sought-after.

To keep costs within a reasonable frame, the DCP organizes the bus transfer and also accomodation in Switzerland. Accomodation will be likely in a youth hostel close to Dottikon, meaning that people have to share rooms. This could mean up to 10 people in one room. We will try to have gender-specific rooms. Please be aware that individually organized transfer to the workshop and accomodation is possible but the DCP will not be able to refund the expenses.

Please indicate your position and your working group as well as your gender for the room assignment. Places will be available by first-come-first-serve principle. If more than 25 people want to join, a waiting list will be generated.
